A few ways to stay up to date with new posts. Pick whichever fits how you read things.
Fediverse / ActivityPub
If you use Mastodon, Pixelfed, or any other fediverse platform, you can follow the blog directly. New posts appear in your home feed, and you can reply or boost from your own account.
Search for @Pat@radomski.co.nz in your fediverse client, or follow the personal account at @Pat@mastodon.nz.
A short notification email when a new post goes up — title, excerpt, and a link to read the full thing. Posts on this blog often include interactive charts or images that don't survive email rendering, so the email is a snippet only, not the full post.
How your email is kept safe
- →Double opt-in. You confirm via a link before any notification emails are sent. If you were added in error or changed your mind, just don't click confirm.
- →Individual sends only. Every email is sent individually — your address is never in a CC or BCC list, and you can never see who else is subscribed.
- →Used only for post notifications. Your email will never be shared, sold, or used for anything other than sending you new post notifications.
- →One-click unsubscribe. Every email has a personal unsubscribe link. Click it, and you're off the list immediately — no questions, no re-confirm, no dark patterns.
Feeds
Add either feed to any feed reader. New posts show up as soon as they're published. No accounts, no tracking, no algorithm.
